I’ve been part of the games industry since 2014, starting at Codemasters. Before that I have been modding games like Civilization II and Star Trek Armada 2 since my early teens. I graduated from Staffordshire University as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Games and Development in 2011.
Between my first job in the industry and during university I kept in touch with the industry through volunteer work as a Community Manager and general busy-body at MCM Expo Group (MCM ComicCon), and supported indie film studio Backyard Productions UK in a 3D artist capacity on their feature film The Drift.
I worked for Ubisoft for 6 years, focused on delivering positive and memorable player experiences both as a Level Designer, and later as Player Experience Manager, working closely with our production team, game designers, and community developers.
